ST. CROIX

Unspoiled. Uncrowded. Unlike any other island. There are many things to see and do both on and off the water. We have noticed that guests who travel to St. Croix want to stay a while and get "a feel" of island life. You want to learn about the culture, history and day to day life. You want to sit back and listen to steel pan music and drift off lazily...you want to enjoy a JUMP UP- a large, Carnival-like street party that takes place four times a year in the streets of Christiansted...you want to know "What is a MOCKO JUMBIE?" And the best part is- you are still under the American Flag- no passort is required to travel to St. Croix. We are a United States Territory.

You do not need a passport to trvael to the US Virgin Islands (or to re-enter the US)

We are still a sleepy little island with beautiful beaches to forget about your stateside worries. A lush rainforest on the west end displays larger than life vegation that you can explore via horseback. Boutiques in town offer shoppers a variety of unique island inspired items. Scuba Diving is first class becuase St. Croix offers such a variety: one of the tallest under water walls, located at Cane Bay, shiprecks, reefs and a pier...all in one day if you choose!

Take an island tour to learn more about our history and culture. Sample a bit of Cruzan Rum after your factory tour, marvel at our beautiful botanical gardens or play a round of golf at 3 different courses. Enjoy the local flavor at a road-side food stand, or reserve a romantic table at one of our many fine dining establishments where you will find, what else, fresh catch of the day! MORE ISLAND TOUR IDEAS

Of course, there is Buck Island Under Water National Monument, famous for its snorkeling trails filled with colorful reef fish, botanicals, coral heads, and the occasional turtles, lobsters, rays and octupus! Buck Island is accessible only by boat- but you can take a full or half day excursion to see for yourself! MORE BUCK ISLAND
